Summary: "Get tool"
This is a powerful set of drills. If you want huge production work like screwing down 3000 sqft of deck boards buy a bigger drill. This is one of the best drill sets I have ever bought. I have at least five full size drills in my shop collecting dust now that I have these. Batterys charge very fast. I would recomend getting a drill bit chuck (Jacobs chuck) along with your purchase.

Very handy! Not too heavy, easy to wear in a holster all day on set. Holds a charge all day if only using occasionally (not drilling all day long). Quite strong too due to its being an "impact driver."

Summary: "Makita 10.8 Volt Drill and Drill-driver is great!"
I love these drills! I watched a cabinet installer who was working at my house use these tools one day and got a chance to question him about battery life and power, and then I borrowed them for a few minutes to use myself. He used them both the drill and the driver intermittently for about 5 hours on one charge, and secured numerous fasteners, and drilled several 1 1/2" holes for grommets in these cabinets.
I was sold, after watching him use the tools, and I have not been disappointed since I bought my own set.

Great set, the drills are exactly what I wanted and they come in a nice carrying case. The drills are easy to use and the size makes them ideal for small jobs. The 1/4 inch hex drive makes changing bits easy.
